Spiced Cabbage

Ingredients
- 4 c red cabbage
- 12 c sugar
- 14 c bacon fat
- 13 c vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp ground cloves
Directions
- Slice very fine the red cabbage into saucepan
- Add the sugar bacon fat vinegar salt pepper and ground cloves
- Simmer for at least 1 hour
- Youll find that it improves with longer cooking
