Spicy Brisket
Ingredients
- 4-6 lb beef brisket
- allspice
- 5 beef bouillon cubes
- Cornstarch
Directions
- Place brisket fat side up on rack of broiler pan
- Fill pan with water
- Sprinkle side of brisket with Allspice
- Bake 6 hours at 275
- Wrap in foil and chill
- Pour juice in jar and refrigerate
- Slice beef 14 inch across grain and place in baking dish
- Take fat off of juice
- Heat juice and bouillon cubes and thicken with cornstarch
- Pour gravy over meat
- Bake for 1 hour at 350
- Tastes like prime rib
- The gravy is great over mashed potatoes
