Spicy Glazed Pecans

Ingredients
- 12 c sugar
- 3 Tbsp water
- 1 scant tsp salt
- 12 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 c pecan halves
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Butter heavy large baking sheet Combine first 4 ingredients in heavy small saucepan
- Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves
- Boil 2 minutes
- Add pecans and stir until pecans are coated with mixture about 1 minute Transfer pecans to prepared sheet spreading evenly
- Bake until light brown 13 minutes
- Transfer to cookie sheet lined with wax paper and separate pecans with fork
- Cool completely
- Great added to salad with romaine Blue chunks and vinaigrette dressing
