Spicy Rabbit

Ingredients

  • 1 rabbit cut to serving sized pieces
  • 16 oz beer
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 5 whole cloves
  • 14 c flour seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 14 c cooking oil

Directions

  1. Combine first six ingredients in non-metal casserole
  2. Marinate in refrigerator for 24 hours
  3. Remove rabbit and dry with paper towels
  4. Coat the rabbit with seasoned flour
  5. Heat oil in large frypan over medium heat
  6. Brown to taste then return marinade to frypan
  7. Simmer to tender
  8. Add enough flour to thicken marinade Serve
