Spider Corn Bread

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 34 c milk
- 1 c cornmeal
- 13 c flour
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp shortening
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425
- Melt shortening in frypan placed in oven
- Beat egg add 1 cup milk
- Stir in cornmeal flour sugar salt and baking powder
- Turn into frypan with melted shortening Pour over remaining milk
- Do not stir
- Bake 25 minutes at 425
