Spinach-Phyllo Triangleshouston Texas
Ingredients
- 1 10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach thawed
- 13 c minced onion
- 2 Tbsp butter melted
- 1 c grated Parmesan cheese
- paprika
- 12 16 oz pkg frozen phyllo pastry thawed
- 1 c butter melted and divided fresh spinach leaves
- 3 Tbsp soft breadcrumbs
- 12 tsp garlic powder
- 12 tsp ground red pepper
- 14 tsp salt
- Dash of hot sauce
- 1 egg beaten
- 34 c 3 oz sharp Cheddar cheese shredded
Directions
- Drained thawed spinach well pressing between paper towels until barely moist
- The drier the better
- Saute onion in 2 Tbsp butter in a skillet until tender
- Add spinach Parmesan cheese and the 7 ingredients on the right hand list
- Stir well
