Spinach Madeline
Ingredients
- 2 10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach or 2 cans spinach
- 2 Tbsp onion
- 4 Tbsp melted margarine
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 12 c spinach juice
- 12 c evaporated milk
- 12 tsp pepper
- 34 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 16 oz jalapeno cheese cut in pieces
- buttered bread crumbs
Directions
- Cook spinach according to directions
- Drain and reserve juice Saute onion in butter until tender
- Add flour stir until blended and smooth
- Slowly add juice and milk stirring constantly
- Cook until smooth and thick
- Add pepper garlic salt Worcestershire sauce and cheese
- Stir until cheese melts
