Spinach Noodle And Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 whole chicken breasts or 1 hen
  • 5 oz spinach noodles
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 1 c chopped green pepper
  • 1 c chopped celery
  • 1 small can olives chopped
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese
  • 1 or 2 cans water chestnuts sliced
  • 1 large can mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cans mushroom soup

Directions

  1. Cook chicken reserve broth
  2. Cut into bite-size pieces
  3. Cook spinach noodles in 1 12 pints of chicken broth
  4. Do not cook noodles too long
  5. You may use more noodles if you wish
  6. Saute the onion green pepper and celery in margarine
  7. Add cheese olives water chestnuts mushrooms and mushroom soup undiluted Mix well with all ingredients
  8. When ready to serve heat to bubbly
