Spinach Salad
Ingredients
- several slices bacon fried and crumbled
- 1 pkg fresh spinach torn
- 1 small onion chopped
- 12 c sugar
- 12 c vinegar
- 34 tsp salt
- 1 egg beaten
- 3 Tbsp bacon grease
Directions
- Combine the first 3 ingredients
- In skillet cook until thickened slightly the remaining ingredients
- Pour dressing over salad and toss well
- May add hard-cooked eggs and extra bacon for garnish if desired
