Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb. split peas
- 1/2 to 3/4 pot water (Dutch oven pot)
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp. Nature’s Seasoning by Morton
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 6 to 10 carrots, diced
- 1 bay leaf
- ham hocks
Directions
- Combine all ingredients and cook on medium until it boils, then cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.
- Add water if necessary to desired thickness.
