Springtime Garden Pilaf

Ingredients
- 2 14 c water
- 14 c butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp instant chicken bouillon
- 14 tsp salt
- pinch of pepper
- 14 tsp minced fresh garlic
- 1 14 c uncooked long grain rice
- 12 c finely chopped carrots
- 12 c sliced almonds toasted
- 14 c chopped fresh parsley
- 2 Tbsp sliced green onions
Directions
- In 2-quart saucepan bring water butter chicken bouillon salt pepper and garlic to a full boil 5 to 7 minutes
- Add rice and carrots return to a full boil
- Reduce heat to low simmer until rice is tender 25 to 30 minutes
- Stir in remaining ingredients
- Makes eight 23 cup servings
