Spritz Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c butter not margarine
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 12 c sugar
• 1 egg yolk
• 2 c sifted all-purpose flour
• 12 tsp baking powder
• 14 tsp salt

Directions

1. Cream the butter with vanilla extract gradually add the sugar until fluffy
2. Add the egg yolk and beat thoroughly
3. Sift the flour baking powder and salt together and add to the creamed mixture in fourths
4. Mix until blended after each addition
5. Fill mixture into cookie press and form cookies onto ungreased cookie sheets
6. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes
7. Yield
