Squash Pickle

Ingredients
- 8 c sliced squash
- 2 c sliced onions
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 c vinegar
- 1 34 c sugar
- 12 c chopped green pepper
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 1 tsp mustard seed
Directions
- Sprinkle salt over squash and onions and let stand 1 hour Mix remaining ingredients and bring to a boil
- Add squash and onions Again bring to a boil
- Pack in hot sterile jars and seal Makes 2 quarts
