Squash Pickles

Ingredients
- 12 gal sliced yellow squash
- 1 pt onions sliced thin
- 4 green bell peppers
- salt
- 2 c cider vinegar
- 3 c sugar
- 1 Tbsp mustard seed
- 1 Tbsp celery seed
Directions
- Combine the squash onions and green peppers
- Sprinkle with salt and cover with water
- Put ice on top to cool
- Let stand one hour and drain
