Squash Puppies

Ingredients

• 1 c self-rising cornmeal
• 12 c self-rising flour
• 12 c chopped onion
• 1 egg beaten
• 2 Tbsp milk
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 c grated squash
• vegetable oil for cooking

Directions

1. Mix meal and flour
2. Add onions and squash
3. Stir in eggs and milk to make stiff batter
4. Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot oil
