St John Banana Bread

Ingredients

• 12 c butter or margarine
• 1 c sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 c sifted flour
• 1 Tbsp melted butter
• cinnamon and sugar mixture
• 1 tsp soda
• 12 tsp salt
• 3 large bananas
• 1 c chopped nuts

Directions

1. Cream
2. butter
3. and
4. sugar
5. Beat in eggs one at a time Mix insifted dry ingredients
6. Beat in mashed bananas
7. Add nuts Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan
8. Bake at350 for 50 to 60 minutes
9. While cake is still warm pour melted butter
10. over top and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon Makes 1 loaf
