Stay Soft Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 c 10x sugar heaped
• 2 eggs
• 12 lb margarine
• 3 12 c flour
• 1 c buttermilk
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 14 tsp nutmeg

Directions

1. Cream sugar and margarine
2. Add eggs and flavoring
3. Add baking powder and soda
4. Add flour alternately with buttermilk beginning and ending with flour
5. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet
6. Top each cookie with a raisin andor colored sugar crystals
7. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes
