Steak And Rice
Ingredients
- 1 12 lb tenderized boneless beef or round steak
- 1 12 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 large onions cut in 12-inch slices and separated into rings
- 1 10 34 oz can cream of mushroom soup or cream of celery soup
- 1 12 tsp garlic salt
- 3 c hot cooked rice
- 1 can water
Directions
- Cut steak into thin strips
- In a large skillet ovenproof if desired brown meat in oil using high heat
- Add onions saute until tender-crisp
- Blend soup water and garlic salt pour over steak
- Reduce heat cover and simmer for 1 hour or until steak is tender
- Or cover and bake at 350
- Serve over beds of fluffy rice
- Makes 6 servings
