Steak And Rice Casserole

Ingredients
- 2 lb round steak
- 1 c Uncle Bens rice
- 12 bell pepper chopped
- 1 Tbsp onion chopped
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 stick butter
- 1 can beef consomme
- 1 soup can water
- 1 4 oz can mushrooms drained
Directions
- Trim bone and fat from steak and cut into 1-inch strips
- Brown steak in oil in skillet on top of stove
- Mix steak and all other ingredients in a covered casserole dish
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour Serves 8
