Steak In A Bag
Ingredients
- 2 12 to 3 lb boneless sirloin or top round steak about 2 12-inch thick
- 3 Tbsp soft butter
- 2 large cloves garlic mashed
- 4 Tbsp salad oil
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 tsp coarse ground pepper
- 1 c coarse bread crumbs
Directions
- You can roast the steak in dry heat in the oven if you desire
- Roast at 375 for 40 minutes
- Wipe steak dry
- Combine butter garlic oil salt and pepper
- Spread butter mixture on both sides of steak
- Press crumbs firmly onto steak on both sides
- Place in brown grocery type bag
- Close with paper clips Place on baking sheet
- Bake at 375 for 45 minutes
- Remove from oven
- Let stand 5 minutes
- Slide onto carving board
- Carve into 14-inch diagonal slices to serve
