Stewed Celery

Ingredients
- 2 c diced celery
- 1 c water
- 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 23 c canned tomatoes
- 4 Tbsp chopped onions
- 4 Tbsp chopped green peppers
- 12 tsp salt
Directions
- Boil celery in water for 10 minutes or until just tender-crisp drain
- Melt butter
- Add chopped onion and green pepper saute for about 5 minutes
- Stir in tomatoes and salt then add celery
- Simmer for 15 minutes longer
- Serves 4
