Strawberry Angel Food Cake

Ingredients

• 1 box angel food cake mix
• red food coloring
• 2 egg whites
• 1 c sugar
• dash of salt
• 23 c sliced strawberries

Directions

1. Prepare angel food cake according to directions
2. Just before baking add red food coloring and stir into cake
3. Bake according to directions
4. Combine egg whites sugar and strawberries in top of double boiler beat with mixer to mix
5. Place over rapidly boiling water beat constantly with mixer
6. Cook 7 minutes or until mixture stands in peaks
7. Remove from boiling water beat until cool
8. Fold in 23 cup strawberries
9. Spread over cake
