Strawberry Glace PieServes 6

Ingredients

• 1 Pet Ritz pie crust shell
• 1 qt fresh strawberries washed and hulled
• 1 c sugar
• 3 Tbsp cornstarch
• 1 c water
• whipped topping

Directions

1. Bake and cook pie crust shell
2. Wash and hull fresh strawberries
3. Cut up 1 cup of berries
4. Mix 1 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons cornstarch in 2-quart saucepan
5. Stir in 1 cup water gradually until smooth
6. Add cut up strawberries
7. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and clear
8. Stir in remaining berries saving 14 cup for garnish
9. Pour in pie crust
10. Chill until firm about 3 hours
11. Garnish with whipped topping and berries
