Strawberry Jam Cake

Ingredients

• 1 c strawberry jam
• 2 c sugar
• 1 c butter
• 5 eggs
• 3 12 c flour
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp ground cloves
• 1 c buttermilk or soured milk

Directions

1. Cream sugar and butter
2. Add eggs one at a time
3. Add jam Sift together flour spices and soda
4. Add with buttermilk to mix Bake at 350 in layer pans until done when tested
5. Ice as desired
