Strawberry Mousse
Ingredients
- 14 c cold water
- 2 env unflavored gelatin
- 12 c very hot tap water
- 1 c liquid brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 c heavy cream
- 1 egg
- 1 pkg 16 oz whole frozen strawberries thawed
Directions
- Place cold water and gelatin in blender and let stand five minutes
- Add hot water
- Cover and blend on medium speed about one minute or until white and foamy
- Add brown sugar and lemon juice to gelatin mixture and blend until throughly combined
- Add cream and eggs
- Gradually add strawberries
- Place in refrigerator until slightly thickened 15 minutes
- Pour into serving dishes and garnish with dollop of whipped cream and whole fresh strawberries
