String Bean Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 large can or 2 16 oz cans French-style beans with pimiento
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 large onion chopped
- 4 strips bacon
Directions
- Fry bacon crisp crumble
- Saute onion in bacon drippings Drain beans put in casserole
- Dilute soup with 12 can hot water
- Add onion to soup and simmer 2 minutes
- Pour soup and onion mixture over beans in casserole
- Sprinkle bacon bits on top
- Cover and bake for about 25 minutes in oven at 350
- Serves 8
