Stroganoff Sandwich
Ingredients
- 1 unsliced loaf French bread
- 1 lb ground beef
- 14 c chopped green onions
- 1 c sour cream
- 1 tsp milk
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 14 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tomatoes sliced
- 1 green pepper cut into rings
- 1 c shredded cheese
- butter or margarine
Directions
- Cut loaf of bread lengthwise wrap in foil and heat at 375 for 10 to 15 minutes
- In a skillet cook beef with onion until brown Drain stir in sour cream milk Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder
- Add 34 teaspoon salt
- Heat but do not boil
- Remove bread from oven
- Scoop out some of the middle pour meat mixture into bread
- Top with shredded cheese then heat until cheese is melted
- Once out of oven add tomato and green pepper rings
- Slice and serve while still warm
