Stuffed ApplesDiabetic Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 small baking apples
  • 3 Tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 3 Tbsp raisins
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Cut apples in half and hollow out core
  2. Place in baking pan Combine nuts raisins and cinnamon in a small bowl
  3. Stuff into apple hollows
  4. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes
  5. Serve at room temperature or chilled
  6. Makes 4 servings
  7. One apple equals 1 fruit and 1 fat
