Stuffed French Toast
Ingredients
- 13 c cottage cheese
- 1 Tbsp raisins
- 14 tsp vanilla extract
- 14 tsp brown sugar
- 2 slices oatmeal whole wheat bread
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp water
- 2 tsp reduced-calorie margarine
- 2 tsp reduced-calorie or strawberry spread
Directions
- Combine first 4 ingredients in small bowl spread on 1 slice of bread
- Top with remaining bread to form a sandwich
- In small bowl beat egg with water
- Transfer to small shallow pan and soak sandwich turning occasionally for 10 minutes or until all egg is absorbed
- Melt margarine in small skillet add sandwich Cook until bottom is golden brown turn and brown other side
- Top with strawberry spread and serve
- Serves 1
