Stuffed Hog Maw
Ingredients
- 1 large hog maw
- 3 lb pork sausage
- 1 lb hot turkey sausage
- 1 lb turkey sausage not hot
- 1 c celery chopped
- 1 12 c shredded cabbage
- 1 large onion chopped
- 5 large potatoes diced
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Clean the stomach and remove membranes
- Mix potatoes onion celery cabbage sausage and seasonings
- Stuff the stomach as tightly as you can and sew up
- Bake in large roaster with cover on at 325 for 3 hours
- Brown uncovered for last 10 minutes
- Gravy may be made and served with it
