Sugarless Applesauce Cake
Ingredients
- 1 c raisins
- 1 c dried fruit diced
- 2 c water
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 12 tsp cinnamon
- 12 tsp nutmeg
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 c unsweetened applesauce
- 2 Tbsp liquid sweetener
- 34 c vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Combine raisins fruit and water in saucepan
- Cook uncovered until water is evaporated and fruit is soft
- Set aside to cool
- In a large mixing bowl combine flour baking soda salt nutmeg and cinnamon
- In a separate bowl combine eggs applesauce sweetener oil and vanilla
- Add nuts to fruit mixture
- Stir into dry ingredients and blend thoroughly Pour into greased fluted tube pan
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tests done
