Sunday Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
- 1 lb medium carrots cut in diagonal slices
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 14 c brown sugar packed
- 2 Tbsp cold water
- 1 12 tsp cornstarch
- 14 c pecans coarsely chopped
Directions
- Place carrots in 1-quart casserole dish with butter and brown sugar
- Cover and microwave on High for 9 to 11 minutes stirring after 5 minutes
- Mix water and cornstarch until smooth
- Stir in carrot mixture
- Add pecans cover and microwave at High for 2 to 4 minutes until thickened
- Serves 3 to 4
