Sunday Hot Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 14 c warm water
  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 12 c sugar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 12 c oil
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 4 to 6 c flour
  • butter or oleo to dot each roll

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in the warm water
  2. Then add the other ingredients beating as you add
  3. Gradually add flour until dough is soft and not too stiff
  4. Let stand 6 hours or overnight
  5. Knead for 5 minutes and divide in 4 parts
  6. Roll out like pie crust cut in 8 pieces
  7. Roll big end to small end
  8. Put in greased pan and let rise in warm place until after church on Sunday morning or 4 to 5 hours
  9. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes
  10. Before baking add a dot of butter to each roll
