Sunflour Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 c self-rising flour
  • 2 to 3 well rounded Tbsp shortening
  • 34 c fresh buttermilk

Directions

  1. Cut shortening into flour
  2. Add milk gradually to make a soft dough
  3. Turn out on floured board and knead lightly about 30 seconds
  4. Roll 13-inch thick
  5. Cut with biscuit cutter
  6. Bake on greased biscuit pan at 450 for about 10 minutes
