Sunshine Cake

Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 1 14 c sugar
- 1 c flour sifted
- 1 Tbsp cold water
- 1 14 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 12 tsp almond flavoring
Directions
- Beat egg whites to peak Add pinch of salt
- Put in 12 of the cream of tartar
- When half beaten sift in the sugar
- Add 1 tablespoon water into yolks then beat until thick
- Fold together whites yolks and flavoring
- Add flour and remaining cream of tartar Bake in an ungreased tin wet with cold water
- Bake 1 hour at 300
- Remove carefully turning tin upside down to cool
