Supreme FudgeMicrowave
Ingredients
- 2 c granulated sugar
- 6 Tbsp unsweetened powdered cocoa
- 34 c milk
- 12 c butter
- 1 Tbsp light corn syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c coarsely chopped Diamond walnuts
Directions
- In 2-quart glass measuring cup with handle combine sugar cocoa milk butter and corn syrup
- Microwave at High for 5 minutes
- Stir well until sugar dissolves
- Microwave at High for 9 to 11 minutes or just until mixture reaches 234
- Let stand until edges are 130 about 30 minutes
- Add vanilla and beat until candy loses its gloss
- Quickly stir in walnuts and turn into buttered 9 x 5-inch loaf pan
- Set aside at room temperature to cool completely
- Cut into squares when set
- Makes about 1 34 pounds
