Surprise Meat Loaf

Ingredients

• 1 c applesauce
• 2 tsp salt
• 12 tsp nutmeg
• 14 tsp pepper
• 2 lb ground beef
• 1 12 c coarse bread crumbs
• 1 medium onion chopped
• 1 egg slightly beaten
• 4 oz Cheddar cheese cubed

Directions

1. Combine applesauce salt nutmeg and pepper
2. Add ground beef bread crumbs chopped onion and egg mix thoroughly
3. Fold cheese into meat mixture
4. Mold into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and bake at 350 for 75 minutes
5. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before slicing
