Swedish Heirloom Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 c shortening 12 butter
- 12 tsp salt
- 2 c sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 1 c powdered sugar
- 1 12 c ground nuts
- 1 Tbsp water
Directions
- Cream butter add sugar gradually then salt and nuts
- Blend in flour and mix thoroughly
- Add water and vanilla
- Mix thoroughly with fork
- Shape into balls or crescents
- Bake in greased sheet
- Flatten slightly
- Bake at 325 for 12 to 15 minutes
