Swedish Nut Wafers
Ingredients
- 4 tsp butter
- 34 c sugar
- 1 egg well beaten
- 2 tsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 13 c flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 12 tsp salt
- 13 c chopped nuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Lightly butter a cookie sheet or jellyroll pan
- Cream butter then gradually beat in the sugar until well blended
- Add egg milk and vanilla beat well
- Mix together flour baking powder and salt mix into first mixture Spread dough onto the cookie sheet as thin as possible just enough to cover pan
- Sprinkle with nuts and press them into dough gently
- Mark with sharp knife into rectangle cookie size bake about 12 minutes
