Sweet-Potato Puff

Ingredients

• 4 sweet potatoes
• 1 egg beaten
• 3 Tbsp cream
• 18 tsp salt
• 2 Tbsp brown sugar
• 14 tsp powdered nutmeg
• 18 tsp powdered cloves
• 16 marshmallows

Directions

1. Peel potatoes and cut into pieces Cover with water
2. Bring to a boil and boil 20 minutes or until tender Drain potatoes and mash Beat egg cream salt sugar and spices together then beat into mashed potatoes Whip until fluffy
3. Heat oven to 350 Butter a 1 12-quart baking dish
4. Pile whipped potatoes in baking dish
5. Press marshmallows lightly into potato mixture Bake uncovered about 30 minutes or until marshmallows are melted and browned
6. Makes 6 servings
