Sweet-Sour Spareribs

Ingredients

  • 2 lb spareribs cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 1 12 tsp salt
  • 2 12 Tbsp shoyu
  • 2 12 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 8 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 12 c vinegar
  • piece of ginger andor garlic
  • juice of pineapple plus water to equal 1 c
  • pineapple chunks

Directions

  1. Marinate
  2. spareribs
  3. for
  4. 12
  5. hour in mixture of salt shoyu and
  6. cornstarch
  7. Brown ribs in oil drain oil
  8. Simmer ribs until
  9. tender
  10. 1
  11. to 2 hours in a mixture of the brown sugar vinegar ginger andor garlic and pineapple juice-water mixture Add
  12. pineapple
  13. chunks
  14. just before serving
  15. Remove oil from spareribs
