Sweet And Sour Asparagus

Ingredients
- 14 c wine vinegar
- 12 c sugar
- 14 c water
- 12 tsp celery seed
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 whole cloves
- salt to taste
- 1 can asparagus
Directions
- Drain asparagus
- Combine rest of ingredients except asparagus and cook over medium heat for about 45 minutes Remove cinnamon stick and cloves
- Pour the liquid over asparagus
- Cover and refrigerate immediately Let marinate at least overnight
