Sweet And Sour Carrots
Ingredients
- 1 lb carrots sliced diagonally
- 1 medium green pepper cut in 1-inch squares
- 1 8 oz can pineapple chunks
- 13 c sugar
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 12 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp vinegar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
Directions
- Cook carrots in slightly salted water for 15 minutes
- Add pepper and cook for 3 minutes more drain
- Drain pineapple and save juice
- Add water to juice to make 13 cup
- Combine sugar cornstarch salt liquid vinegar and soy sauce
- Cook and stir until bubbly
- Add vegetables and pineapple
- Heat through Serves 6
