Sweet And Sour Mustard
Ingredients
- 8 oz dry mustard
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp red pepper
- 3 eggs well beaten
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 c white sugar
- 1 12 c wine vinegar
- 23 c butter
- water
Directions
- Mix mustard and peppers with enough water to make a smooth paste
- Add sugars and vinegar
- Bring to a boil stirring continuously
- Add butter and stir until melted
- Add a little of the hot mixture to the eggs mix well Pour this into hot mixture in pan
- Continue to stir
- Bring to a boil again over medium heat
- Pour into jar
