Sweet And Sour SlawTeacher Favorite

Ingredients

  • 1 large head cabbage shredded or thinly sliced
  • 1 green pepper finely chopped
  • 1 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 c vinegar
  • 34 c olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1 tsp mustard seed

Directions

  1. Combine shredded cabbage green pepper and onion in large bowl
  2. Sprinkle with sugar
  3. Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan
  4. Bring to a boil and pour over cabbage mixture Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 4 hours
  5. Toss just before serving
  6. Can keep up to two weeks
