Sweet And Sour Stir-Fried Beef

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef flank steak
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp cold water
- 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion cut in 1-inch pieces
- 1 8 14 oz can pineapple chunks drained
- 12 c water
- 14 c sugar
- 14 c white vinegar
- 1 Tbsp instant chicken bouillon
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 medium green pepper cut in 1-inch pieces
- 2 medium tomatoes cut into eighths
Directions
- Trim excess fat from beef cut beef with grain into 2-inch strips
- Cut strips across grain into 18-inch slices
- Mix cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water
- Heat oil in 12-inch skillet or wok over medium-high heat until hot
- Add beef and onion cook and stir until beef is brown about 3 minutes
- Stir in pineapple 12 cup water the sugar vinegar instant bouillon and soy sauce Heat to boiling
- Stir in cornstarch mixture
- Cook and stir 1 minute Stir in green pepper and tomatoes cook and stir 1 minute Serve with hot cooked rice
