Sweet Pastry Crust

Ingredients

  • 12 c butter cut into small pieces and chilled
  • 12 c powdered sugar
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 14 c flour

Directions

  1. In a large bowl beat butter with sugar egg yolks and dash of salt until blended
  2. Sift 14 flour into bowl beat add 1 teaspoon ice water
  3. Repeat with remaining flour and 12 to 2 teaspoons water only enough to hold pastry together
  4. Form into ball Refrigerate at least 1 hour before rolling out
