Sweet Pickle Sticks

Ingredients
- about 8 firm medium cucumbers
- 3 34 c white vinegar
- 3 c sugar
- 3 Tbsp salt canning and pickling
- 4 12 tsp celery seed
- 4 12 tsp turmeric
- 34 tsp mustard seed
Directions
- Wash cucumbers and cut in sticks
- Cover with boiling water and let stand 4 to 5 hours
- Drain and pack solidly into pint jars
- Mix remaining ingredients in pan bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes
- Pour over cukes filling within 12-inch of top
- Put on lids and rings
- Process 5 minutes
