Sweet Refrigerator Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 pkg dry yeast
- 2 c warm water divided
- 12 c margarine softened
- 12 c sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 8 c flour divided
Directions
- Dissolve yeast in 12 cup warm water
- Melt margarine in remaining warm water
- Add sugar salt and beaten egg to margarine and water
- Cook to lukewarm
- Add yeast and 12 of flour mix until all ingredients are well blended
- Add enough remaining flour to make a stiff dough
- Place in a greased bowl
- Turn once to grease top of dough
- Cover and refrigerate
- When ready to use take out needed amount
- Make into rolls
- Place in lightly greased pans and let rise 3 to 4 hours until double in size Bake at 400 for 15 minutes or until brown
- Total amount will yield 48 rolls
