Sweet Sour Pork Chops

Ingredients

• 6 rib pork chops 12-inch thick
• 1 Tbsp shortening
• salt and pepper
• 12 c Heinz tomato ketchup
• 12 c pineapple juice
• 1 Tbsp brown sugar
• 1 Tbsp lemon juice
• 2 Tbsp minced onion
• 1 tsp Heinz Worcestershire sauce
• 12 tsp salt
• 18 tsp ground cloves

Directions

1. Brown chops in shortening drain excess fat
2. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper
3. Combine ketchup and remaining ingredients pour over chops
4. Cover simmer 45 minutes basting occasionally or until meat is tender
5. Skim off any fat from sauce
6. Makes 6 servings 1 cup sauce
